Creative Writing Group

Date: Mondays

Time: 2:00 – 4:00 pm

Location: Age UK Wellbeing Centre, Arragon Road, Twickenham, TW1 3NH

The Ruils Creative Writing Group is made up of a diverse mix of people who share a love of a story, whether through the art form of a novel, or a play monologue or poetry.

Ruils Theatre Group

Date: Fridays

Time: 2:30 – 4:00 pm

Location: Age UK Wellbeing Centre, Arragon Road, Twickenham, TW1 3NH

Ruils Theatre Group, is an inclusive, disability friendly, user-led group led by our expert facilitator Bryony, of Ignite Me Workshop Theatre.

Breath and Stress Workshops

Date: Wednesday

Time: 7:00 – 8:00 pm

Location: Zoom

Learn about stress release through natural breath, gentle movement and mindfulness. Our Breath and Body online group will help you understand the natural breath technique of sleep and meditation to release stress and aid relaxation and creativity.

Ruils Community Choir

Date: Tuesdays

Time: 11:00 am – 12 pm

The Ruils Community Choir is a mixed group of all abilities and ages, signing and discussing music and song writing in an inclusive and disability friendly environment.

Ruils Community Allotment

Date: Wednesdays

Time: 11:00 am – 1:00 pm

Location: Shacklegate Lane Allotments, Teddington, TW11 8UJ

The Ruils Community Allotment in Teddington is an accessible place for adults of all ages to enjoy growing and caring for a garden.

Wellbeing Walks

Date: Third Friday of every month

Time: 10:30 am – 12:30 pm

Location: Different locations across the Richmond borough.

Together As One

Date: Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays

Time: 11:00 am – 4:30 pm

Location: Twickenham Cricket Club, Twickenham, TW2 5QD

Ruils supports Together As One, a Twickenham based organisation providing support for anyone experiencing loneliness or social isolation, particularly as a result of mental health issues.

Embracing Age Activities for Older people

Location: Churches across Richmond Borough

Churches across the Borough of Richmond hold activities for seniors from exercise classes, craft groups, computer classes and lunch clubs, to special communion services, to name a few.

Accessible Walks

Location: Starting point at Twickenham Exchange

Do you want to get outside, socialise and learn about your local environment? We have teamed up with RB Mind and Frances Bennett to run an Accessible Walk from Twickenham Exchange to Knellar Gardens.

Join the Ruils Bowls Club, every Monday at Cambridge Park Bowls Club, for a chance to get out, play bowls, and socialise with new people!

Your Say Group

Date: Last Thursday of every month

Time: 2:00 – 3:30 pm

Join our user-led group to have your say and work towards positive change in your community. This is a safe an accessible space for all Disabled Richmond residents to come together.

Richmond Transport & Mobility Forum

Date: Quarterly

Time: 2:00 – 4:00 pm

Location: Twickenham Patch, 42 York St, Twickenham TW1 3BW
