Why might it be of interest?

United Response run over 20 activities in their Hub at Field Lane in Teddington, all set up, co-run and led by people with disabilities.  There’s a wide range of activities on offer. They give people we support the chance to work or volunteer, gain skills, build friendships and relationships, and pursue their passions.  Groups will be mixed – age and disability.

You will need to get in touch with United Response to find out more about the schedule and you can find information and contact details on the link above.

 Groups include:

  • Dance
  • Karate
  • Keep Fit
  • Pottery
  • Saturdays at Wetherspoons
  • Relaxation
  • Art
  • Outings to Marble Hill Park
  • Theatre trips

United Response run a social group for more able young people fortnightly on a Saturday afternoon and are also starting up their Companions group again – a project to support creating and maintaining healthy relationships.
