Support local this festive season!
From our annual Advent calendar to gifting a donation, there are lots of ways to support Ruils this festive season!
The holidays can be a really challenging time for many of our clients and their families. Ruils acts as a lifeline for those who may go without support, both during the holidays and throughout the year.
All donations made toward our festive season campaign will help fund our work supporting Disabled children, adults and their families across South West London. Your donations will make the holiday season a lot brighter for many in our community.
Christmas Food Parcels
For the fifth year we are collecting food donations to put together Christmas food parcels for local Disabled people in need. All non-perishable items on the list are greatly appreciated, but we would especially appreciate treats and hygiene items:
- Sweets
- Chocolates
- Biscuits
- Crisps
- Soap/body wash
If you would rather donate to cover the cost of the fresh fruit and vegetables that will be added to the parcels, click here to donate.
All food donations can be dropped off at the Ruils office in Teddington between 9am-5pm Monday – Friday. 4 Waldegrave Road, Teddington, TW11 8RF. Last day to donate is Wednesday 18th December.
Ruils Advent calendar
After 4 years of fun, the Ruils Advent calendar is back for the 5th year!
From 1st December you will find a daily act of kindness, activity or interesting fact about how Ruils supports the community behind each door, suitable for all ages and abilities!
Calendars are a £10 donation each and are great for gifting to your friends and family so you can follow along each day together.
The last day to order your calendar with a guaranteed arrival before December 1st is Wednesday 27th November.
Gift a donation
This year we’ve added a new way to give back – gifting a Ruils donation to your friends and family.
You can order as many gifts as you like! The options are:
- £10 will buy fresh fruit and veg to fill Christmas Parcels for those in need this holiday season
- £20 will pay for a Disabled young person to attend an accessible activity
- £50 will cover 3 counselling sessions for a local Disabled person needing mental health support
Each donation made will come with a Ruils holiday card with the inside left blank for you to write your own message. You will also receive a card insert that explains the donation you’ve made and the impact.
Don’t send me a card
Save money and the planet by sending an e-card this festive season. With lots of designs to choose from, there is virtual card for everyone on your list. You can select your donation amount to match your budget and all funds raised will support Ruils’ work with local Disabled people.
