Ruils chosen as The Richmond Golf Club’s charity of the year

We are excited to have been chosen as The Richmond Golf Club Captain’s Charity of the Year!

Marking the start of his tenure as Club Captain, Bill Boucher, said;

“I have the privilege of being the Club’s Captain for the year and am delighted that I can use this platform to help raise vital funds for a charity which is very close to my heart, Ruils Independent Living. Ruils has provided invaluable support to my family and the Club will be raising money for their Children’s Services which support children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). Ruils helps families to secure the support their child needs to participate fully, and reach their potential, at home, school and in the community. They don’t receive any government money for this work and I hope that we can raise some much-needed funding”.

Cathy Maker, CEO of Ruils said:

“We are over the moon to have been chosen by Bill as his Charity of the Year and appreciate the importance The Richmond Golf Club attaches to supporting its local community. We are looking forward to supporting the year’s events and also offering our expertise to any Club members who might need advice and information.”

With Bill’s leadership and the generosity of The Richmond Golf Club community, we’re confident that together we can create lasting impact for children with SEND and their families.
