Want to get online? Don't know where to start?
Our Connect to Tech service can help!
Our IT support team can visit you in your home to set up a device you own; ensuring it works for you and your needs. Our ‘support in your home’ service allows us to come to you and support you to learn how to use all the features your device has to offer. We can also teach you how to troubleshoot any issues you may come across.
If you don’t have a device, but would like to own one to help you to be more independent or connect you with the community, we are running a ‘try before you buy’ scheme. This scheme allows clients and unpaid carers to try items such as phones, smart watches, laptops, tablets and smart speakers for 3 months, to see what works best. We will work with you to identify a device to suit your needs, assist you to set it up and to purchase your chosen equipment after the trial period.
For details of other Connect to Tech schemes and technology support in the London Borough of Richmond, including training courses, workshops and peer support sessions, visit the Richmond Aid website below.

“Being able to borrow a laptop from Connect to Tech has let me have fun with my hobbies and see my friends online. Without it, I would have been bored and lonely while I was stuck at home.”
