- Prepare a budget & level of support that works for all the family
- Choose the right people and services to give the best support
- Conduct regular reviews to keep everyone working well together
- Provide feedback to your family and friends if required
- Organise practical things at home
Payroll support
If you employ a Personal (care) Assistant (PA) to support you, you may need help to manage their pay and tax. Our Payroll Service will support you by registering you with HMRC and get everything set up.
You tell us how many hours your PA has worked each month and we calculate the payments, including tax and National Insurance. We send you payslips for each PA monthly and a summary of tax due. We keep holiday records and can help with pensions advice and set up.

Susan has been my main Personal (care) Assistant since I left hospital in 2007. Ruils help me by running a very efficient payroll service for my team of PAs.
