About this role
Our 1-2-1 Walkers provide socialisation and opportunities for physical activity to our clients who are isolated at home due to their disability and/or reservations about getting out in the community.
Clients that we support with this service will generally be less mobile and lacking in confidence. Through listening and building a trust with the client you will help encourage them to walk locally.

- Have good communication and listening skills with a friendly attitude
- Are aware of the principles of confidentiality
What will I be doing?
This could be:
- Just outside their doorstep
- In their street
- Around their block
- To the local shops
- To a local park
The aim is to build confidence so that the client may progress to join our group activity walks and further develop socialisation.
