Do you have what it takes to complete the ultimate golfing test?
Date: Monday 8th June 2026
Time: 4:15 am – 9:00 pm
Location: The Richmond Golf Club, Sudbrook Park, Sudbrook Lane, Surrey, United Kingdom, TW10 7AS
Cost: £250 per player (whether playing 36 or 72 holes)
On Monday 8th June, The Richmond Golf Club is holding a special golfing challenge event to raise funds for Ruils. In The Longest Day, players will watch the sun rise over Sudbrook Park as they play 4 rounds of golf in one day.
How the day works:
- 15 teams will start at 4:15am with a shotgun start.
- Each Team Captain must complete the full 72 holes
- Other team members can choose to play 72 holes or 36 holes.
- A minimum team is 4 players all scoring across the 72 holes, though teams can include more players if some are completing only 36 holes.
- Players can be members or guests.
- The first 36 holes played continuously, with breakfast provided by the club and given out during play
- Lunch break, with the opportunity for 36-hole players to rotate in or out.
- Second 36 holes played, with refreshments provided throughout the afternoon.
- BBQ and prize giving once all teams have finished (probably around 8pm)
Friends and family are very welcome to come along during the day and attend the post-golf BBQ (£30 per person).
Entry
- £250 per player (whether playing 36 or 72 holes)
- The majority of the entry fee goes directly to Ruils – Independent Living
- Players may have a caddy for any round with a £25 charity donation.
- Buggies will be permitted for the 4th round only, with a £50 charity donation.
- If you would like to enter a team or play as an individual, please email the club directly at golf@richmondgolfclub.co.uk and let them know whether you plan to play 36 or 72 holes.
- Places are limited to 15 teams, so early entry is encouraged.
All profits raised will help fund Ruils’ vital work to remove the barriers faced by local people in our local community.
Thank you for your support!
