Run, walk, cycle or create your own unique challenge to raise funds for Ruils.

With so many events to choose from, there is something for everyone and your efforts will really make a difference!

Taking part in a challenge event gives you a great opportunity to achieve your own personal goals and raise funds to support Disabled people across SW London. We offer a wide variety of events each year catered to different fitness levels and ages.

Thames Path Challenge

Date: Saturday 13th – Sunday 14th September 2025

Location: Route starts at Putney Bridge

Event type: 100, 50 or 28 km walk or run

Fundraising target: £300

Join our team to take on the Thames Path Challenge. You can choose your distance (100, 50, 28 km) and method (walk or run). You’ll help us raise vital funds for our work and get a proper Thames Path Challenge medal, t-shirt and a glass of fizz at the end.  It’s fun, sociable and a great challenge no matter what distance you choose.

Winter Wonderwheels 2025

Date: Sunday 7th December 2025

Location: Dorney Lake, Windsor

Event type: Accessible challenge – walk, wheel or run your choice of 1km, 5km or 10km.  

Fundraising target: £150

Winter Wonderwheels is a fun and festive challenge event, accessible to disabled people and children.  Join our jolly team of clients, staff, trustees and supporters and take on your choice of 1km, 5km and 10km distances.  You can walk, wheel or run and help us raise vital funds.  You’ll enjoy christmas songs, festive spirit and receive a fantastic medal sponsored by Marvel.   We will book an accessible minibus to the event from our Teddington office for participants who need transport.
