Social Housing Access Summit
Social Housing Access Summit
Date: Monday 22nd June
Time: 1:00 – 5:00 pm
Location: Richmond Housing Partnership, 8 Waldegrave Rd, Teddington TW11 8GT
About the Summit
A few years ago, a group of 6 Richmond-based voluntary sector organisations set out with a shared mission: to improve systems and outcomes for Disabled people in social housing — particularly those experiencing disrepair or challenges getting repairs resolved. Since then, real progress has been made — by housing providers, the council and our organisations.
The Social Housing Access Summit is an opportunity to come together, reflect on that progress and explore what comes next. Hosted by the voluntary sector, this collaborative event will bring together all key stakeholders across Richmond to:
- Share best practice in accessibility and reasonable adjustments
- Learn from each other’s successes and challenges
- Hear directly from tenants and community voices
- Shape a collective vision for improving outcomes
Why Attend?
- Learn what good looks like when it comes to accessibility in social housing
- Hear from providers, the council and advocates across the borough
- Understand the London-wide context and policy landscape
- Gain insight from Community Ambassadors and tenants with lived experience
- Contribute to meaningful conversations about future improvements
There will be plenty of time throughout the event to network and build relationships with others working in the housing sector.
