First Bus Access Day

Date: Friday 12th June

Time: 11:00 am – 3:00 pm

Location: Fulwell Bus Garage, Wellington Road, Twickenham, Middlesex, TW2 5NX

Delighted to announce that we are co-hosting our 3rd annual Access Day with First Bus! We will have lots on, including tours of the control room and buses, discussions with drivers and an opportunity to share your feedback on access.

There will be refreshments provided and we will have a BSL interpreter on site.

Self-Advocacy Workshop on Legal Rights

Date: Thursday 18th June 2026

Time: 1:30 – 3:30 pm

Location: Disability Action and Advice Centre, Teddington TW11 8HT

Come along to a free self-advocacy workshop in Teddington to learn about your legal rights as a Disabled person.

Being able to advocate for yourself is important; if you are not happy with the way something is done or the situation you are in, then people making decisions about your life have to listen.

This session will cover how to navigate legal pathways for services, including:

  • Adult Social Care
  • Mental Health
  • Housing
  • Discrimination
  • Careers
  • Complaints Ombudsman

Sue Bradley from Rethink Advocacy will deliver the workshop. Light refreshments will be provided. If you would like to attend please register below and tell us about any access needs.
