Supported Employment – Choice Support

Why might it be of interest?

Many of our disabled young people will want to work but will find it difficult to manage the process on their own without support.  An employment support service offered by Choice Support in Richmond and Wandsworth is there to provide whatever support they need at any stage of the process.  They work very individually to support a young person from the very beginning – determining what they might like to do, finding job opportunities, applying, preparing for the interview, supporting the employer.

Employment support services work with the disabled young person at their own pace – I mention this because when things might be taking longer than a parent would like it may not be due to the service but of the commitment of the young person!
