Why might it be of interest?
In specific circumstances a disabled young person can be eligible for a grant for driving lessons. The young person has to have:
- Enhanced rate mobility allowance
- A motability car (or in the process of getting one)
- A provisional driving licence
- Passed their theory test
- A means tested benefit (such as Universal Credit)
