CQC – Housing with Care

Why might it be of interest?

You probably don’t need to know what’s in this document!  But if you have an interest in how the CQC works with supported living providers and when a provider has to be CQC registered this document will provide you with that information.

It should be noted that the CQC are not responsible for inspecting the accommodation of a supported living home.  Their responsibility is around the regulated activity of personal care – this is what they inspect.  If no personal care is provided then the provider does not need to be registered with the CQC.
