Why might it be of interest?
If you are looking for support for your young person from an agency it is helpful to know who already works in your area. A colleague who works with families in LB Hounslow has compiled this list from her experience. This list does not imply any recommendation of the agency – it is simply knowledge that we have of the agency working locally.
Most of these agencies work with adults, so from age 18, but some can provide support to under 18s. Some agencies are explicit about the ages they work with, others not so much so do make enquiries.
We would always recommend that you do your own research – looking at the website, reviews and the CQC reports and recommendations. I haven’t included the CQC rating in this list as the last inspection for many of the agencies was some years ago.
Where an agency has a website the specialisms and services have generally been taken from the website. If it’s not clear on the website or there isn’t one I have taken the list from the CQC report.
I haven’t been able to verify if all of these organisations are still operating and whether their contact details are still correct.

Adult Learning Disability and Autism Service (ALDAS) and Independent Futures (Hounslow Council)
The Adult Learning Disability and Autism Service (ALDAS) provides social care support for residents from the age of 17 years old, who have a learning disability and/or autism.
There are two parts to the service; the Independent Futures Team (supporting those from the age of 17 to 24 years) and the Community Team (supporting those from the age of 25 to end of life).
