Why might it be of interest?

Remaining in education is not the only option for young people post 16.  While all young people must remain in education or training until they are 18 what this looks like can vary from a typical school setting to most of your time being spent hands on.

Even if you are planning on remaining at school (or a local 6th form college) until 18 it’s still good to start to understand what might come after for you.

All young people in year 11 with an EHCP should be offered a Next Steps interview.
