An Evening with Dick Best flanked by Peter Winterbottom MBE and Mickey Skinner

Kick off the Six Nations in style by joining us for an evening with Dick Best, Peter Winterbottom and Mickey Skinner. 

Alison Kervin OBE, Sports Editor, Mail on Sunday will chat with Dick Best, coach of the British & Irish Lions on their 1993 tour to New Zealand and England for 17 games from 1991, winning the Grand Slam in 1992.

Peter Winterbottom MBE is also in the hot seat…The ‘Strawman’, former England flanker, won 58 caps for England, winning two Grand Slams (’91 & ’93) and reaching the World Cup final in 1991. Peter toured with the British & Irish Lions to New Zealand in 1983 and 1993 and is listed in the top 50 British & Irish Lions of all time!

Mickey ‘The Munch’ Skinner won a total of 21 caps for England. He made his England debut in January 1988
in England’s 10-9 defeat to France in Paris during the Five Nations. Mickey is world-renowned for “The Tackle” on
Marc Cecillon during England’s quarter final against France in the 1991 Rugby World Cup.
