Hammersmith & Fulham Direct Payment Review 

Hammersmith and Fulham Council currently provides support to help residents manage their Direct Payments. They acknowledge that they don’t always get it right, but are committed to making changes to the way the service is being delivered. They have been working with disabled people’s organisations in the borough and have decided to conduct a review of the service. They need to know what is working and what is not working. The review is to make sure that they get a full and clear picture of the current service and they have asked us, Ruils, to conduct an independent review.

The review will include talking to council staff, voluntary sector organisations, but most importantly to Direct Payment users. 

We want to hear your views about the support you receive in using a Direct Payment to organise your care and support. We know you are probably tired of form filling, but this survey is really important because it will give us vital information about the support you are receiving and what needs to change. We are also very keen to meet with people who get a Direct Payment to hear about your experiences and to find out more about what needs to change.
