Becoming a Ruils Trustee

The Ruils Board of Trustees (or Directors) is made up of individuals who themselves use services to get the support they need. The Board determines the direction that Ruils takes and is responsible for overseeing the work that Ruils does.

We are currently recruiting...
If you are a full member of Ruils (click here for more information on membership then you are able to stand to become a member of the Board. You don't need to wait until our annual AGM to sign up.

If you are interested in becoming a trustee contact Cathy on 020 8831 6083 or email her cathymaker@ruils.co.uk. today. She will be happy to chat through how the process works and will put you in touch with Jane Getley our chair.

Board members are not paid (apart from travelling expenses), but there is great satisfaction in working with like-minded individuals. You will also have a direct influence on the way Ruils works and will be able to influence and guide policy & procedures. The Ruils Board meets every 2 months. We have different sub-committees which oversee different aspects of our work e.g. Personnel, Marketing, Finance, Strategy. You can choose which one you get involved with.
